That quality of light, being our first real photo assignment, was giving me some trouble at first because I simply had no idea what to photograph... and then this sort of happened on its own :)

This painting hung in the living room of my childhood home, so it holds a bit of weird nostalgia for me, too... maybe it creates the same in you?
